[Turtle and Rabbit in One Body] This Qingtan tree is 1,500 years old. Look at the burl growing on the trunk. A burl is a self-protective tissue formed by abnormal proliferation of tree cells when the tree is externally damaged to heal the wound, similar to a scar on the human body. Look closely at this burl; does it resemble a turtle facing downwards? The turtle stretches its head, carrying a round shell on its back. If you take a few more steps up and look, this burl resembles a rabbit facing upwards, with a vivid rabbit's mouth, eyes, and ears. Since the turtle and rabbit share one body, it is called "Turtle and Rabbit in One Body."
Everyone knows the fable of "The Hare and the Tortoise." Although the hare runs fast, it falls asleep by the roadside; although the tortoise crawls slowly, it wins through perseverance. But we can't always hope that the hare will fall asleep, right? Nor can we always crawl like the tortoise, can we? So nature tells us through "Turtle and Rabbit in One Body": We should not only have the abilities of the hare but also the diligence of the tortoise. Only by combining abilities with effort can we keep pace with the times and continuously innovate.
